Charles Thomas was named a 2012 Honoree at the 2nd Annual Staten Island Black Heritage Family Day People Parade this weekend.
The parade showcases, honors and celebrates the rich and diverse cultures of people of African descent that call the borough of Staten Island our home. Thomas was selected on the basis of his contributions to the quality of life for the residents of the borough of Staten Island, and his civic, social services, humanitarianism and personal achievements.
