The Dolphins grabbed a 3-1 victory over Bryn Athyn before defeating Christendom, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania. In game one, CSI took the first two sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-19 before trailing in the third, 25-17. They prevailed in the fourth set with a 28-18 win. The Dolphins captured all three wins in game two; 25-21, 25-15 and 25-12.
CSI’s Pola Poskrobko had a fine performance of 13 kills with three digs and two solo blocks. Catherine Ebro helped out with seven kills on ten attempts. JeanMarie Lewandowski had a game-high 22 digs while Jennifer Samuel totaled 21 assists. Loren Verri added five kills and three solo blocks.
Kaitlyn Brock led for Bryn Athyn with 11 kills while Cathleen Curran had 17 digs.
CSI will be back in action on Tuesday, October 2, as they host William Paterson in a 7:00 pm non-conference game.
