The second-half burst would erase an early Panther lead.In a close contest, it was the little things that allowed CSI to come away with the win. The Panthers were also narrowly outrebounded, 43-34, including 18-10 on the offensive glass, where the Dolphins generated some second-chance points.CSI was paced by Megan Myhre and Olivia Tierno, who finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively. The Dolphins connected on five 3-pointers, highlighted by four key 3s from Myhre. Foul trouble also plagued the Panthers, who lost two starters late in a tight game, having both foul out. The tandem of Jess Lindsay and Jalisa Fields performed well in defeat for the Panthers. Lindsay scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the loss, while Fields posted 10 points and eight rebounds.CSI is next in action this Saturday, when they host visiting New York University for a 3pm contest at the Sports & Recreation Center.- Story used courtesy of Purchase State Sports Information.
