In an effort to rid the College of obsolete, broken, and unused equipment, the offices of Buildings and Grounds, and Campus Planning conduct campus-wide pick-ups of the equipment twice a year. Due to the this month’s inclement weather, the first pick-up for 2014 has been extended to Friday, Mar. 21, 2014.
If you need equipment removed for discard, please forward an email to firstname.lastname@example.org; lillian.mcGinn@csi.cuny.edu, and email@example.com stating what the equipment is, including the CUNY barcode tag, and the location of the equipment.
As the requests accumulate, Marilyn Ulrich of the Buildings and Grounds Office will contact each of you to set up a scheduled time to pick up the equipment. Please make your requests as early as possible. There is limited storage space and once we reach our capacity, all remaining requests will be held until the next salvage pick-up period.
