The College of Staten Island’s men’s team is in action today against King’s College (Pa.) for the first time in school history at the CSI Soccer Complex at 3pm.

After starting the 2014 season 3-0, the Monarchs dropped their first game yesterday against USMMA 1-2 in double overtime.  King’s College made it to the NCAA tournament last season but was knocked out in the first round by Lycoming College by a 1-0 score line.  King’s College is located in Wilkes-Barre PA and has an enrollment of 2,725.

The Dolphins had their game yesterday postponed due to inclement weather which may give them the edge in today’s contest as the Monarch’s had to play 110 minutes of soccer yesterday in their double overtime loss.  CSI has shown improvement in each of its three games played thus far this season.  The Dolphins will hope to use that momentum to pick up their first win of the season.
