The last time these two teams met was on October 5, 2013 in Randall’s Island, NY where the Hawks were able to take down the Dolphins 1-0. Hunter holds the all-time record over the Dolphins at 17-16-3 with a 9-7-2 record at the CSI Soccer Complex. The Dolphins have won just two of the last six meetings against the Hawks and will hope to improve upon that today as they look to hold onto first place within the CUNYAC.
The Hawks have struggled this year as they started the season 0-9 and are just 3-11 overall. Hunter had its two game win streak snapped recently against the Bearcats where they fell 1-0.
Today we will be honoring two of our seniors as it is the last regular season home game for them. Alfonso Castaneda who has scored three goals on 52 shots this season with two assists and has tallied eight points on the year. Arber Ceci is our second senior and has played in five games with two shots and 71 minutes played.
