The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team is back on the court this weekend and will start with a tri-match at Rutgers-Camden at 12 Noon. First, the Dolphins will be hosted by the Scarlet Raptors and at 2pm, they will face Wilkes College. The Dolphins are looking to get back in the win column after a season-long four game losing skid.

Players To Watch (CSI): Victoria Wong has been a force on the back line for CSI as she leads the team with 137 digs, better than 10 per match. CSI’s balanced attack is led by Siobhan Granich’s 80 kills followed by 78 from Selma Kolenovic.
Players to Watch (RU): Cortnee Wilkerson is the leader of the pack with 99 kills for the Raptors. Melanie Kaiser is dangerous behind the line with 18 aces this season. Erin Thompson is a force on the back line with a whopping 264 digs.
Players to Watch (WC): Ally Paskas leads a balanced Wilkes attack with 167 kills this season, followed closely by Ellen Mook’s 146. Danica Benson is a defensive stalwart with 257 digs on the back line.
News and Notes: After this tri-match, CSI will resume their CUNYAC schedule, when they travel to Brooklyn College on Monday to take part in CUNYAC multimatch play. They will face Baruch College at 9am at Brooklyn, followed by Medgar Evers at 11am.
