Players To Watch (CSI):  True to form to start the season, the sophomore duo of Christina Pasaturo and Samantha Flecker continue to be the main cogs for CSI.  In the Dolphins’ big win over St. Joseph’s College (BK) on Saturday, both notched 17 points and 13 rebounds, connecting on 50% of their shots from the floor.  Senior Jamie Pifalo improved her scoring per game average to 6.7 per game with a solid 13-point performance on Saturday as well.  Alyssa Carlsen is second on the squad in assists with 21.
Players To Watch (BC): Veronica Ganzi is off to a great start this season for the Bearcats, boasting a healthy, 21.8 points per game average.  Jacqueline Kennedy has been just as lethal.  The interior threat is averaging 15.5 points and 14.3 rebounds per game this season.  Similarly, Symone Green is averaging 13.3 markers and a robust, 8.5 rebounds per game.
News and Notes: Despite a CSI win on Baruch’s home floor in 2014, Baruch has dominated the series, winning 16 of the last 17 meetings.  Prior to that CSI had taken 23 of the first 28 games of the series, including 12 in a row from 1996 to 2004.  CSI is 10-8 all-time when playing at Baruch.  Games in this series have typically not been close.  Since 2000, the winning team has won by an average of 23.3 points, and you would have to go back to 1990 to find the last game in this series decided by five points or less, a streak spanning 35 games.  CSI is 3-1 this season, and are 15-7 since last season when scoring 10+ steals in a game.  Baruch is averaging 24 turnovers per game.  In the Bearcats two losses this season, they were out-rebounded by 45.  For the first time in 2015-16, they garnered more rebounds in their 79-50 win over Hunter on Saturday.  CSI, meanwhile, has done well on the boards, averaging 46.2 per game, and are a +1 per game in that department this season per game.
