The College of Staten Island baseball program is in action today against John Jay College in a standalone game starting at 5:00 pm.  The Dolphins will host the Bloodhounds at the CSI Baseball Complex and look to pick up their second consecutive win over John Jay.

Players To Watch (CSI): Jett Nouvertne had a solid doubleheader yesterday against the Bloodhounds and finished 3-for-6 with four RBIs. On the year, Nouvertne sits second on his team with a .348 batting average with seven RBIs which sits behind only fellow freshman Nick Meola.  Meola paces the squad with a .357 batting average while also leading with 8 RBIs.  Ryan Kennedy shined yesterday to pick up his second win of the season in six innings of action.
Players To Watch (JJC): Zach Hyde finished yesterday’s doubleheader 4-for-7 with an RBI and a run. Hyde had an outstanding performance at the shortstop position making several grabs to keep his team in the game.            
News & Notes: The Dolphins suffered their first loss to the Bloodhounds since 2012 yesterday which ended a 15-game win streak that Staten Island had over John Jay.  The Dolphins will look to pick up where they left off yesterday and string together two wins.
