Last Year’s Results:  CSI won both meetings
Players To Watch (CSI): The Dolphins got a big career performance from freshman Nicole Vierno, who notched 18 points and a CSI single-game record seven blocks on Saturday.  She is averaging 9 points per game thus far.  Christina Pasaturo continues to lead the team in scoring at 19.0 points per contest, and she is among the nation’s leaders with 6.5 assists per game.  Sophomore Samantha Flecker leads the unit in rebounds with 8.5 per contest.
Players To Watch (YC):  The Cardinals are scoring just 52 points per game, and a big percentage of that is the production of Angelika Ruggiero, who is averaging a healthy 15.9 points with a team-leading 21 three’s and 26 steals.  Samantha Bond is averaging 13.1 points and leads the squad with 33 assists.  Look for Jiqcara Grant to be a huge factor on the boards, as she is averaging 17.1 per game this season.
News and Notes: CSI has had the better of this series winning the last 10 meetings and 31 of the last 32 in the series dating back to 2001.  CSI is 26-5 all-time at York.  Prior to their win on Monday, York had lost six-straight, including four to CUNYAC opponents that CSI has notched victories against.  York has struggled with their shooting this season.  They have only shot over 30% on three occasions, winning two of those games, but have gone just 1-10 when they have failed to shoot over 30%.  Getting steals is a calling card for the Dolphins this season.  The Dolphins are 6-1 this season when collecting over 10 steals in a game and are just 2-5 when they do not.  CSI is 6-1 when shooting over 40% from the floor and are 5-1 when shooting over 30% from beyond the arc, so strong shooting will be looked at as a factor tonight.  CSI is a +7.9 in the turnover column per game this season while York is a minus-two.
