The College of Staten Island Cheerleading squad competed in its first STUNT competition at the Sports & Recreation Center on Saturday. The Dolphins fell to Pace University, 10-6.

STUNT is a competitive form of cheerleading that removes the crowd-leading element and focuses on the technical and athletic components of cheer, including partner stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, group jumps and tumbling. It is created by USA Cheer.  The game, set-up in four quarters, saw CSI leading early, 3-0, only to see the Setters take control from there.

The Dolphins’ scheduled second match against Rider University was not played.
