Players To Watch (CSI):  Nicole Meliak continues to hit well and has gone 3-for-5 over her last three outings with a run and an RBI.  Her impact in games hasn’t necessarily showed up in the score sheet but when the Dolphins need to move a player into scoring position Meliak has been there to do just that. Vanessa Joia is hitting .339 on the year with four RBIs and a triple.
Players to Watch (YC): Nicole Ovelheira is batting .432 on the year which is almost double her team’s average of .232.  Ovelheira reaches base 46% of the time, highest on the team, and paces the way with two home runs, 19 hits, and 21 RBIs. Ovelheira has also has not struck out yet this season. Alyssa King has a knack for finding her way across home plate and has recorded 15 runs, a team high, this season to go along with 15 hits.
News and Notes: The Cardinals as a team have committed 81 errors this season, which is more than any other team in the CUNYAC. Over the last five meetings between these two teams the Dolphins have only let up one run against the Cardinals while scoring 69 runs of their own. The Dolphins as a team have committed just 27 errors all year which is much less compared to the average of their opponents which sits at 56.  CSI is hitting a healthy .337 as a team with eight home runs and 11 triples.
