Players to Watch (SU):  Amanda El-Khouri is off to a solid 2-1 start in singles, leading the way for her team in wins near the bottom of the order.  First singles ace Summer Conover is 1-2 in the top spot and adds a 1-2 doubles mark as well.  Kristen McCormick and Katelyn Emick has also starred in every match thus far, picking up wins in singles.
News and Notes:  Today the teams are meeting for the first time ever in Staten Island as both previous meetings were played at Stockton, once last year and the other back in 2013, also an 8-1 win by the Ospreys.  In last year’s match, CSI’s only win came at No. 3 Singles, where former Dolphin Dana Friedman downed SU’s Colleen Anderson.  The win was part of a 5-1 start to Stockton’s season last year.  This year they are 1-2 and had their last match against Stevens Tech washed away due to rain.  CSI played only yesterday, scoring a lopsided win over York College.  Today is their first non-conference match of the season.  CSI is 1-0 at home this season and were 4-4 at home a year ago.  Stockton is 1-0 this season on the road and were 4-1 last year on opponent turf.
