The CUNY Office of Human Resources, Professional Development and Learning Management Office, is offering a course for managers and supervisors called “The Manager in the Middle: Effective Power Relationships Up and Down.” This is a two-day course that is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, May 25 and 26 from 9:00am to 5:00pm in Manhattan.
This course is designed to assist managers and supervisors in navigating the challenges incurred from being positioned “in-between” their direct reports and the executives and managers to whom they report. This is a highly interactive workshop where you will learn how to balance relationships and build alliances up and down the organizational hierarchy. The cost for this course is $120 per person ($60 per day of training).
More information is available online. If interested, please register via the PDLM E-Application (E-App) located online under Registration, have your supervisor sign the form, and then forward the completed registration form to CSI Human Resources.
