The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams will head to Madison, NJ to compete in the Drew University Invitational. There are a total of seven teams in this year invitational which include, Drew University, Fashion Institute of Technology, College of New Rochelle, Queens College, Cedar Crest College and FDU- Florham.

Swimmers to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins will use this weekend’s meet as a benchmark for how they have improved since the season opener. On the men’s side, Tim Sweeney will be looking to have his best time of the season in the 100 Fly, a race he had the 9th fastest time in earlier this season. The El Haddad brothers will twist and turn in the air as they try to add first and second place finishes on the boards for the Dolphins. For the women it will be Victoria Crea and Ewa Wojciechowska speeding through the lanes looking for top finishes to bolster their teams score.
News and Notes: This weekend’s meet will be the first action for both the men and the women since their CUNYAC bout against Baruch College on November 18. The Dolphins have been hard at work preparing for this meet in the pool with all the of Dolphins’ swimmers and divers looking to set personal bests.
