The College of Staten Island men’s baseball team officially began their season in Myrtle Beach, SC, and the Dolphins advanced to a pair of wins in the season-opening doubleheader. The Dolphins defeated Southern Virginia University by scores of 3-2 and 9-4.
The wins were especially impressive given that SVU had already played 15 games this season coming in. After the doubleheader, CSI is 2-0 this season while SVU fell to 6-11 overall.

CSI gets right back on the diamond tomorrow when they face Muhlenberg College for a 12 Noon doubleheader.
