The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s swimming & diving are in action today in New Rochelle, NY, for a non-conference meet against the College of New Rochelle. For the women, it will be their second meet in as many days while it’s the first action for the men since November 3.

Players to Watch (CSI): Leo Litovsky will look to lead the Dolphins in the lanes after a strong showing against Mount St. Mary.  The relay team of Michael Blacharski, Ibraham Hassan, Sami Jindyeh, and Litovsky clinched the win for the Dolphins in their last outing to start the men off with a quality win. For the women, Cecelia Mauro and Victoria Musarella will need to shine in the lanes for the Dolphins to pick up their first win of the season. Gabriella Bartley and Lisnette Solano had good outings in their last meet and will look to carry that over to today’s meet.
Players to Watch (CNR): Kameron Clouser is coming off of a meet in which he was able to get into the record books in the 200-yard Butterfly and 200-yard Breaststroke. Christian Provost also moved up the ranks in school history when he entered a time of 1:59.25. Giancarlo Hernandez earned a 50-yard freestyle win, his first of the season. In another record-breaking performance, Nicole O’Leary etched her name in the record books in the 100-yard Freestyle with a time of 58.67. Rebekah Merancy was able to pick up her first win of the season in the 500-yard Freestyle, swimming a personal best time of 7:34.36. 
News & Notes: This will be the first meeting between these two programs. The Blue Angels have been speedy in the pool all season, posting season-best times and record-breaking performances. The Dolphins are coming off of a tough meet against CUNYAC opponents, Hunter College.
