Less than 24 hours removed from their conference win over York College, the College of Staten Island men’s tennis team will look to keep things rolling when they travel to face Rutgers-Camden in a non-conference test this afternoon at 12pm on the Camden courts.

Players to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins are being led bu the Singles play of both Raymond Hwang and Alex Tsui, as they are both 5-1 this season.  Hwang has won three of his matches at his natural No. 3 position, but took a win in the No. 2 position yesterday over York.  Tsui is a perfect 4-0 at his natural No. 4 position.  Matthew Vesci broke a skid with a win in the top-spot yesterday against York College.  Vesci and Tao Lin have a 5-1 record as well playing in the No. 2 poistion.
Players to Watch (RU-CAM): The Raptors are being guided by the great play of Shariq Khan, who is 4-1 in Singles, playing in the Nos. 5-6 positions.  Vatsal Patel has taken three wins in Singles, two of them in the no. 3 flight.  In Doubles, RU-Camden has played wekk this season, being led by the team of Matt Deak and Jose Vargas, who are 3-1 overall split over the Nos. 2-3 positions.
News & Notes:  CSI holds an all-time 3-1 record over Rutgers-Camden, having last played last year and winning 9-0.  The teams have played in each of the last four years.  CSI has a 2-0 all-time record at Camden, winning 7-2 in 2015 and 6-3 in 2017.  The Scarlet Raptors’ only win in the series was a 7-2 affair in 2016 played at Staten Island.  Today marks Camden’s third straight home match.  They started this home stand with a 9-0 win over Lehman College, but recently fell to Ramapo College at home on Friday, 9-0.  CSI, meanwhile, is on a five-game win streak after losing their season-opener.
