The College of Staten Island women’s soccer team came off of a dynamic 2018 season that saw them take home their fourth-straight CUNYAC Championship crown.  That pedigree will follow them into the 2019 season for what they hope will be a great run beginning with the announcement of their 2019 schedule.

CSI will open up the season as they did in 2018, with a pair of contests at Kean University to take on the host Cougars and the Ospreys of Stockton University.  CSI will then open up the home portion of their season on September 8, at 12 Noon, when they host Penn College for the first time in program history.  In mid-September, CSI will also host William Paterson before another first-time opponent comes to CSI in Concordia (NY), on September 18, at 3:30pm.  It will also mark CSI’s first NCAA Division II test, as the Dolphins hope for D2 entry in mid-July.

Six of the Dolphins’ contests will be against the familiar CUNYAC.  They start that lineup on the road on September 21 against Medgar Evers College and finalize it at home against John Jay College on October 23, a rematch of last year’s CUNYAC Championship, won by CSI, 6-2.  The Dolphins will officially finalize their 2019 regular season with a home date against New York University on October 26.

Should the Dolphins be granted admission to the NCAA Division II ranks, they would be ineligible for the CUNYAC Postseason.
