As was announced by the Chancellor in early January, starting Monday, Feb. 28, staff members will begin working 70% of their work schedule in person, on-campus. Please continue to refer to CUNY’s Flexible Work Guidelines for helpful information, including the remote work agreement form, which shall be used to document such modified/hybrid schedules.

Any requests for an accommodation should be submitted to HRAccomm@csi.cuny.edu for review and consideration.

Further, please also be mindful of the approaching deadline (Friday, Apr. 1) for all full- and part-time faculty, non-teaching instructional staff (PSC members), and personnel in the Executive Compensation to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to remain employed by the University, unless granted a medical exemption, religious exception, or reasonable accommodation. Thus, if you have not done so already, please do not wait to become fully vaccinated from COVID-19 and upload proof of your vaccination record to CUNYFirst. As was communicated by the Chancellor on Thursday, Feb. 3, and again on Tuesday, Feb. 15, CUNY and the PSC are engaged in discussions concerning implementation details of the faculty/staff vaccine mandate, and will provide additional information, including details on how to apply for an exemption/exception/accommodation, once an understanding has been reached between the parties. Please be sure to continue to monitor your CSI emails for further information from the Chancellery on this subject. You can find information on where you can get the COVID-19 vaccine using NYC’s Vaccine Finder or schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine at various location throughout NY State using NYS’s Pre-screener and appointment tool.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or need any additional information.
