College of Staten Island Associate Professor Cary Karacas recently teamed with co-writer David Fedman to offer an op-ed piece in the New York Times entitled “Japan Buries Memories of its Last War and Worries About Another.” In the piece, Karacas and Fedman talk about Japan’s increasing military budget and the historical memory their citizens have on the country’s last World War.
