Professor Grace M. Cho recently penned a feature for The Nation magazine, of the historical impact and personal significance of the Korean War, on the 70th anniversary of the Korean Armistice. Dr. Cho recounted her own personal tale tied to her mother’s recounts of the war and the devastating impact it had on her family, one that has led her on a search for truths about the “forgotten war” and its impact on her family tree.
