NYC Health Benefits Program Rate Changes – Sept. 1, 2023

The New York City Office of Labor Relations (OLR) has published new health plan rates for Sept. 2023. The new health insurance rate changes will be reflected on the first full pay period in Sept. 2023. To view the new 2023 health insurance rates please go online. Please review your health deduction on the Sept. 21, 2023 paycheck to ensure that it matches with the Sept. 2023 rate changes.

Fall Transfer Period (November 2023)

The Fall Transfer Period will be held in November 2023 for active employees. During that period, employees can:

     * Transfer to another health plan

     * Add or drop an optional rider

     * Add or drop dependents

     * Elect the Health Benefits Buy-Out Waiver Program

Any changes made during the Fall Transfer Period will become effective on the first day of the first full payroll period in Jan. 2024.
