On Tuesday, the College of Staten Island welcomed back four alumni who have all established careers in law, to talk to current CSI students about the paths they took to get to law school and landing their desired careers. Nolan DeBrowner ’15, Alex Deutsch ’14, Naomi Edwards ’16, and Jenna Jankowski ’14, each talked about their path getting to law school after graduating from CSI, and then building their networks and professional pursuits to land their current roles across a broad range of legal avenues.

Both DeBrowner and Deutsch pursued law degrees at Cardozo Law School upon graduation. Edwards enrolled at Brooklyn Law School, while Jankowski entered Drexel Law School. The foursome talked about their existing roles working for private law firms, public legal services, and the federal government. They answered questions from current CSI students and enjoyed a follow-up reception in the upper atrium of the Center for the Arts. The event was hosted by CSI Professor Michael Paris, Director of the Legal Studies Institute.
