CSI-TV will feature a host of new programming this week, both live and pre-recorded, dedicated to the arts taking place in the CSI Recital Hall and Lab Theatre. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10

3:00pm – 4:15pm – CSI Chorus – Catch this performance live as Marina Alexander leads the CSI Chorus in a program of works from a wide range of style periods and places.

7:00pm – 9:00pm – CSI’s Young Artists Recital – Catch this performance live as The Performing and Creative Arts Department showcases its most gifted students in a concert of solo and chamber music.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11

7:00pm – 9:00pm – CSI Jazz Ensemble – Catch another live performance as the CSI Big Band, led by Darrell Smith presents a concert of jazz repertoire from a variety of artists, styles, genres, and periods in jazz history.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12

3:00pm – 4:00pm – CSI Jazz Repertory Ensemble – CSI’s jazz combo, under the direction of Vincent Guarna, performs the fine art of chamber jazz, where each individual in the group is responsible for inventing his part in the overall arrangement. This performance will be recorded and aired on Friday.

7:30pm – 8:30pm – CSI Guitar Ensemble – this live airing will feature the CSI Guitar Ensemble, led by Edward Brown, sharing a wonderful program of music that demonstrates the group’s versatility and skill. Their concerts are a CSI tradition that go back decades.
