Get ready for an evening of Broadway favorites, youthful talent, and plenty of musical theatre magic! The College of Staten Island’s Center for the Arts will present its Kids Center Stage Cabaret on Saturday, November 21, at 7pm in the CFA Recital Hall. 

Featuring 17 talented young performers, this special evening will celebrate the songs and shows that have made Broadway a beloved part of our culture. From timeless classics to more contemporary favorites, the cabaret will feature a lively collection of solos, duets, trios, and ensemble numbers. 

Taking the stage will be Eva Basse, Sabrina Belcastro, Victoria Benedict, Mallory Campbell, Stella Cavallo, Aurelia Cruz, Hunter Fugate, Sofia Gazzola, Keira Hanson, Liam High, Ellianna Lambert, George Lener, Leah Modzelewski, Melody Santora, Hannah Sorbello, Colin Trubits, and Juliana Villani. 

Directed by Christie High, with Gavin Matthias serving as music director, the program will feature songs from some of Broadway’s most treasured musicals, including The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray, Annie, Cinderella, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, Follies, and Les Misérables. 

The Kids Center Stage Cabaret is part of the Center for the Arts’ ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for young performers to develop their talents, build confidence, and experience the thrill of performing before a live audience. It’s also a chance for family, friends, and the Staten Island community to see firsthand the incredible enthusiasm and talent these young artists bring to the stage.

They come in with so much enthusiasm, and it’s wonderful to watch them grow in confidence and discover what they can do,” said Producer Charlie Siedenburg, Artistic Director of the Center for the Arts. “We have a terrific group of young artists, a wonderful collection of songs, and a great evening of musical theatre planned. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Recital Hall to cheer them on!”
