Last week, the Spring Issue of NCAA Champion magazine was released and features the College of Staten Island as its cover story. The story is about CSI student and athlete Jacqueline Jamaleddine, who discussed her attachment to athletics at the College as a motivating force behind her education.
NCAA Champion magazine has a subscription of 50,000 nationwide and is also delivered free to every NCAA campus in the United States.
You can read the Web version of the story.
The compelling video news story is available online.
NCAA Reporter Gary Brown was on campus for three days last month to cover the story, which featured a film and photography crew that traveled from Indianapolis and Denver. CSI Adjunct Professor Jennifer Sullivan, who also served as an Assistant Coach with the Women’s Tennis team this past fall, was interviewed along with Head Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country Coach Robert Russo, and Jackie herself.
Jackie and stories like hers are what make CSI so unique, and it should be celebrated.
Congratulations to the College of Staten Island for this celebrated achievement.
