The ECAC announced its field for the Metro NY/NJ/Upstate Women’s Basketball Postseason Championship, and the Dolphins have been selected as the No. 3 team in the four team field. CSI will face Rutgers University – Camden at Brooklyn College on Saturday, March 5, at 7:15pm to kick off opening round action.
Normally played separately, the ECAC, like last year, is combining both the Metro NY/NY and Upstate regions to form one comprehensive tournament, making for two great matchups. In the other semifinal game, No. 1 Brooklyn College will face No. 4 Centenary College (NJ) at 5:00pm. The two winners will play on Sunday at Brooklyn College at 1:00pm.
This season marks CSI’s 12th entry into the ECAC Tournament all-time, having now made an entry in each of the last four seasons. The Dolphins boast an 11-10 all-time record in ECAC postseason play, and took home a championship back in 2009.
