Dr. Fatoumata Seck holds a Ph.D. in French and Anthropology from Stanford University, an M.A in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Georgia as well as an M.A in Foreign Languages and Management from Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in France. Her current research focuses on culture and economics in French Speaking Africa. Her areas of interest include Caribbean studies, diaspora studies, cultural studies, economic theory and interdisciplinary approaches to literature.
