The College of Staten Island women’s swimming & diving team returns to their home pool tonight after participating in the FIU Sprint in Florida. Tonight, the Dolphins will host both John Jay and Kean University at the Sports & Recreation Center at 6:00 pm.

Players to Watch (CSI): Alyssa Dunn will look to rule the board tonight against the Cougars and Bloodhounds. Dunn has been the top diver for the Dolphins all season and will want to continue that tonight in her final home meet. Lisnette Solano swam well in Florida, posting a time of 37.71 in the 50 Breaststroke. Rachel Beyer joined the team late this season but has instantly made an impact. Beyer topped the Dolphins in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:28.77.
Players to Watch (JJC): Linwei Ma picked up a first-place finish in the 100 Meter Backstroke in her meet against Baruch. Earlier in the meet, Ma touched third in the 800 Meter Freestyle with a time of 12:14.87. Maya Chedraoui also made an impact in the Bloodhounds’ last outing, coming in second in the 200 Meter IM.
Players to Watch (KU): Kristina Sullivan will enter the meet tonight coming off of a record-breaking performance. Sullivan broke Kean’s 1000 Freestyle record with a time of 12:00.45. Sarah Sissel won the 200 Freestyle two meets ago, adding to her tally of first place tallies on the season.
News & Notes: Both John Jay and Kean have not participated in a meet since early December, whereas, the Dolphins last competed in early January. Staten Island comes in on a two-meet win streak while both John Jay and Kean come in on a losing skid.
