You have created learning outcomes for your course or program and now you need to assess what students have learned. Join us for an “uncluttered” view of assessment strategies that will dispel misconceptions, offer short cuts, and help you zero in on what students have covered in your course and your field (major), such as:  

  • the important concepts, methods, perspectives in your discipline 
  • the important skills to apply in or after they exit your course,  
  • the ideas they should retain years after your course,  
  • the knowledge needed to pursue a career in your field, 
  • and more.
