Lacey Sloan (Associate Professor) received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Mississippi, her Master of Science in Social Work and her Ph.D. in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. She has over 20 years of experience in the anti-sexual violence movement, including serving on the board of directors of the New York Coalition Against Sexual Assault, the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and the National Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Her research interests are in the area of violence and social injustice, particularly violence against historically marginalized populations. She is currently working on the issue of mobbing and bullying in the workplace.
