Zikos, Hamai and Ursomanno earned CUNYAC All-Star honors.

The 2012 CUNYAC Tennis All-Stars have been announced and the College of Staten Island holds three spots. Senior Riad Hamai and Sophomore Nick Zikos earned a mark on the First Team while sophomore Dan Ursomanno was selected to the Second Team.

Four year senior Hamai finished the season with a 6-8 singles record including a 5-3 No. 2 flights record. He saw an even 7-7 record in doubles play often pairing with teammate Austin Kapetanakis where they saw a 3-4 record.

Earning Rookie of the Year last season, Zikos earns his spot on the all-star list this year. He ended the season with an 8-6 singles record at the No. 1 flight. Zikos has a fine 11-3 doubles record including a 5-3 record with teammate Ursomanno.

Ursomanno closes 2012 with a 6-4 singles record where he ranged from the No. 2 to 4 flights. The sophomore put together a 6-7 record in doubles.

The Dolphins finished their season on Sunday after being defeated by Baruch College, 5-1, in the CUNYAC semifinals. CSI finished the season with a 7-10 record and 4-3 in the conference.
