With the first couple of weeks of the season in the books, the College of Staten Island men’s swimming and diving season is off to a great start, and the program was rewarded handsomely with the naming of two athletes to weekly honors. Returning star Yury Zimarev locked up the conference’s Performer of the Week honors, while freshman Tim Sweeney bagged the CUNYAC’s Rookie of the Week honors, it was announced yesterday.
