After a very successful 3-0 week, the College of Staten Island women’s basketball team saw another win yesterday, grabbing a Player of the Week honor from the City University of New York Athletic Conference for sophomore Samantha Flecker. The forward enjoyed a banner week for the Dolphins, who have now won five-straight since starting the season at 1-3.

Two days later, Flecker logged 34 minutes in a 35-point win over John Jay College, notching 17 points and 10 rebounds for another double-double. She also added four assists and a pair of steals in the game as well.
To conclude her week, Flecker enjoyed another solid outing against non-conference Keystone College on Saturday. In the 80-53 win, Flecker popped in a team high 15 points to go with four boards in 31 minutes. She also added four assists and a pair of blocked shots.
