An updated draft of the proposed changes to the College’s Governance Plan (with and without track changes) is available online. This draft incorporates feedback received from several town halls, meetings of the general chairpersons committee, feedback from representatives of interdisciplinary programs, and private messages received by the committee. Thanks to all for your participation and comment.
Noticeable changes from the draft circulated in spring 2017 include the removal of the proposed Tenure and Promotion Committee (T&P) and changes to the proposed Faculty Personnel Policy Committee (FPPC).
Our aim is to have a discussion of this draft at the November College Council meeting with a vote to be held at the December meeting as to whether a referendum of the instructional staff should be held in the spring.
