Below is an update on the next phase of the Loop Road construction project:
Given the change in weather, the construction project will proceed with drainage work and hold off on paving until further notice. Drainage work will commence on Thursday, Jan. 11 in the areas between parking lot 4 and the three-way stop at the Victory Blvd. entrance, which will result in temporary closures of the roadway.
Access to the Children’s Center (Building 2R) during this time will be an approach from the south on the east side of the campus using the back gate or looping around the campus counterclockwise if entry is through Victory Blvd. There will be no closures of parking lots. This work will take place primarily during the day; therefore, the roadway will be open in the evenings to allow for normal traffic flow. We will keep the campus updated on the progress of this work. The contractor’s goal is to have this completed prior to the start of the spring semester.
