Join the Office of Scholarship and Fellowship Opportunities for upcoming information sessions to learn more about two great programs, the Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship and the America Needs You Fellowship.
The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship is a three-year program that provides unprecedented opportunities to promising students to further their personal, professional, and cultural potential, including summer internships, stipends totaling $19,000, and a $2,000 Discovery Fund for self-designed experiences. The fellowship also provides guided mentorship by experienced staff, a cohort of close-knit peers, skill-building seminars, and cultural events throughout NYC.
The information session for the Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in Building 3N, Room 221.
The America Needs You Fellowship is an intensive two-year program for high-achieving, low-income, first-generation college students of CUNY. The program offers students career development workshops, access to internships, and professional development grants totaling $2,000. All Fellows are matched, one-on-one, with a successful and motivated professional “Mentor Coach” dedicated to their personal and professional growth. Mentor Coaches and Fellows work together to cultivate the Fellows’ strengths and interests, and direct them into successful careers.
The information session for the America Needs You Fellowship will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in Building 3S, Room 101.
