The Library is pleased to announce November’s Monthly Movie, my brooklyn, Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 2:30pm in the Library (Building 1L), Room 203.
my brooklyn is a documentary about Director Kelly Anderson’s personal journey as a Brooklyn “gentrifier.” The director chronicles her years living in Brooklyn as the borough experienced an explosion of luxury housing and chain store development. While some residents view these changes as the inevitable steps to revitalizing the borough, others believe that gentrification removes the unique identity that made Brooklyn so desirable to begin with.
We welcome feedback and suggestions from students, staff, and faculty about film topics or titles for future screenings. All events will be CC CLUE.
