In a game that was delayed for over an hour, the College of Staten Island men’s soccer contest against Purchase State had to be halted just 8:01 into the first half due to intense lightning from this afternoon’s storms.  After deliberation from the officials and both head coaches, it was decided that the game would be canceled and a make-up date would be determined at a later time.  The game was tied, 0-0, at the time of the suspension.  If and when the game is replayed, it will be replayed from the beginning of the contest and for a full 90 minutes.

The beginning of the game was delayed due to the women’s half of the doubleheader starting 45 minutes late due to a transportation issue for the Panthers.  The women’s team defeated Purchase, 3-0.
