The team at WSIA, 88.9FM, recently got the chance to sit down for a long-form interview with CSI President Dr. Timothy G. Lynch, and the interview is available for listening and viewing.
WSIA’s Janyah Mercedes and Mariam Ibrahim met with Dr. Lynch in his office, and discussed several topics with the President, including the recent CUNY Tuesday campaign and CSI’s First Generation event, as well as Dr. Lynch being mentioned on Staten Island’s Power 100 List by City & State. They also spoke about several important internal CSI issues, such as plans to improve graduation rates, career-readiness, and the College-wide budget deficits.
WSIA broadcasts 24 hours a day on 88.9FM, and is Staten Island’s only FM radio station, with studios located in the Campus Center. The interview can be heard several times including Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, next week, from 10am to 10:30am, and can be viewed immediately via WSIA’s YouTube Channel.
The interview between WSIA and President Lynch went so well, that the group plans for more interviews in the future.
