Patricia Salmon, Curator of History at the Staten Island Museum; Charles Dunn of the Staten Island Pipes and Drums; and Elizabeth-Jane Moller of The Golden School of Irish Dance celebrate “The Irish on Staten Island: Dance, Music, and History” on Thursday, March 12 at the College of Staten Island.

Moller and Dunn will actually demonstrate Irish dance and bagpipe music for the attendees.

Winnie Brophy, Adjunct Lecturer with the Pluralism and Diversity program, who is presenting this program at CSI, says, “This is a great event for the CSI community to attend because you will visually experience and learn about the Irish culture in Staten Island.”

Admission is free and open to the public. The event takes place in the Center for the Arts Recital Hall at 1:30pm and is PG CLUE-certified event for CSI students. For more information, call the CSI Pluralism and Diversity program at 718.982.2597.
