These are just a few examples from recent weeks – there are interesting, inspiring, and extraordinary things happening at the College every day. And we want to tell the world. Please take a few minutes to read how you can help us do that.

Help us to promote your event.

You’ve invited a great speaker, you’ve reserved the room, and even ordered a dozen pizzas. Then no one shows up! It happens to the best of us. We can help you avoid this distressing situation: Promote your upcoming events on the CSI/CUNY Calendar of Events.

This calendar informs the CSI and CUNY communities, as well as the general public, of events at CSI, and it’s a great way to boost attendance. Go online to submit an event. Once you’ve submitted it, the Calendar editor will review it and add it to the online Calendar. If you have any questions about this process, please call Terry Mares at 718.982.2428.

Telling your stories on CSI Today

Stories across our campuses are a source of pride and reflect students’, faculty’s, and staff’s exceptional scholarship, commitment to education, and great talent. All you need to do is send the ideas to us – in whatever way is easiest: You can use this form or send an email (joseph.lamport@csi.cuny.edu). Please include photos. We can’t publish every idea we receive – but the more complete the information you send to us, the more likely we will use it. Keep in mind that your article will be edited for style and clarity.

Stay up to date on what’s going on.

We also want to help you stay informed about campus events and news: Please read CSI Today – we post articles almost daily. Our social media is updated several times a day. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and like us on Facebook, and you will never miss a beat. We plan to introduce an e-newsletter soon – stay tuned.
