The College of Staten Island soccer programs will both have crucial CUNYAC matchups today, as they will welcome in Medgar Evers College to the CSI Soccer Complex for a pair of games. The CSI women will kick-off first at 12 Noon in a game pitting two undefeated CUNYAC sides. The Men will then follow in a match that will go a long way in the quest for tournament positioning. CSI SportsNet’s Michael Baybusky and David Pizzuto will anchor the call. Coverage begins 20 minutes before game one kick-off at 11:40am. CSI and Medgar Evers women are atop the CUNYAC standings. MEC sits at 3-0, while the Dolphins are 2-0. The game today would position the winner as the conference leader going into the home stretch of the year. The Cougars won the season series last year, 1-0-1.
In the men’s game, CSI (2-3 CUNYAC) sits in a tie for 5th place in the standings. The team will look for more points against Cougars in this home tilt. Kick-off is slated for 2pm.
