The semifinal round of the 2012 CUNYAC / Hospital for Special Surgery Women’s Tennis Championship set to take place at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, will have to be put on hold for 48 hours, as Mother Nature has washed away this afternoon’s activities. At 1pm, No. 3 CSI was set to take on No. 2 Brooklyn College for the right to advance to the Championship Final. As a result of the washout, the semifinals will take the place on what would have been the Final, on Sunday, October 21, also at 1pm at National Tennis Center.
In the other semifinal, No. 1 Hunter College will take on No. 4 Baruch College. The two winners of the semifinal games will meet for the CUNYAC Final (weather permitting) on Wednesday, October 24, at 5pm.
