All-Time Series:  Drew leads, 9-7
Players To Watch (CSI): The Dolphins are on a 5-game win streak and are getting hot hitting from Antoinette Galbo, who is now batting an even .400 this season after earning CUNYAC Player of the Week honors.  Freshman Patricia Riches is third in the nation in batting average with a .548 clip.  Pitcher Jacqueline Cautela will look to build on some records today.  Most recently the senior took the school’s career strikeouts mark and she is 11 away from 400 for her career.  At the dish, Cautela is 21 hits away from the CSI record and is three doubles shy of that all-time record as well.  Fellow pitcher Alison Meagher is riding a super high as she earned Pitcher of the Week this past week and has dipped her season ERA to a paltry 0.77.
Players To Watch (DREW): The Rangers are batting .282 as a team, led by the hot hitting of Heather Ronchi as she is now over the .360 mark and leads the team in hits, doubles, and RBI.  Emma Agostini has started just 22 games but is next in line at .361 in limited duty, while Phylicia Pellot is batting .353 and leads the team with a .434 on-base percentage having net a team high 13 walks this season.
News & Notes: The Dolphins are meeting with Drew for the first time since 2013, when the teams split a doubleheader.  Previous to that the teams have shared success in the series, with the Dolphins sweeping doubleheaders in 2010 & 2011 and Drew sweeping a set in 2012.  Overall, CSI has had a lot more success against the Rangers at home than on the road.  The Dolphins are 6-2 all-time against Drew in Staten Island as opposed to 1-7 all-time in games played at Drew.  CSI is on a five-game win streak and are 10-2 at home this season while Drew has split their last two doubleheaders this year and are just 2-7 on the road.  The teams share three common opponents (6 games).  CSI is 5-1 in those games while Drew is 3-3.  As we draw closer to the end of the regular season, CSI is closing in on some school records.  CSI has matched the second-highest win total in their history and are three wins away from their all-time high of 31 set in 2015.  They have also matched their second-highest ever total in home runs with 19 this season, with the record being 23 in 2007.  In the field the Dolphins’ percentage of .969 would be a single season record, as would their team ERA this season of 1.05.
